Storm
Clouds, Montana
Everything comes from way back there,
behind that house (which is carried along).
It all comes at us, fills up
our vision and keeps coming,
stretching us wider and wider,
streams outward beneath our feet,
sails past way overhead, taking us along
and Dorothy, Toto, the pedaling witch,
the big gray house, the fields,
all of us surfing on this towering
breaking wave of light
just ahead of night.
