High Meadow, Glacier Park
oil on canvas
Dean and I went on a trip acroos the US, ostensibly to a family wedding
but really as an adventure, in 1991, when we had quit our full-time jobs
to be artists full time. We went north across the States to Florida. The
US was in the midst of an extraordinary heat wave, with temperatures in
the far north up in the low 100's. And Dean didn't want to use the air
conditioning. Glacier Park may well have been our first respite from the
heat.
