Washington Cathedral Facade
oil on canvas

I think this is a grand painting. I like the juxtaposition of the soft sand and rose colors of the building with the dark and overwhelmingly green foliage. The cloud holds its own too. I have several more paintings of churches which I just haven't photographed yet, the Unitarian church and the Baptist church, both at the juncture of Columiba road and I think 16th St in Washington DC.

Washington Cathedral Facade was accepted for display in the Art League of Alexandria Gallery, The Torpedo Factory, Alexandria VA during August 2005. The show was juried by Timothy App, an award-winning abstract painter.
