Magnolia House, Magnolia Massachusetts

This is a second rendition of this house. (The first one had a figure in it and was sold through Venables Gallery). I worked from the reference photo for this one. I really liked the shapes of these venerable houses near the Atlantic and the way the light leaked across, creating interesting shadows. (I went to Magnolia Mass as part of an excursion arranged by The American Artists' Magazine in 1994.)
